Lighting The Way

FOOD MINISTRY, THRIFT STORE, AND RADIO

What is Lighting the Way Outreach?

We've been given the opportunity to partner with a Sevier County program lending a helping hand to those in our community who need it.  Founded by Jim and Linda Odom, Lighting the Way Outreach is an organization dedicated to the well-being of our fellow community members by providing a source of nourishment for those who may not otherwise be able to afford it.
Located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, this organization has been serving hungry families for several years although the outreach as it exists now has been operating since November of 2015.

We believe that even one person can make a difference if they follow God’s path, and we hope that you will help us be a force for good in East Tennessee.

Thrift Store

In a world too often full of trouble and pain, we desire to be a messenger of hope. Jesus taught that putting others first benefits you as well when He said, “Give and it shall be given unto you.”

Radio Ministry

Funded by the proceeds of the thrift store, the radio ministry broadcasts line by line teaching out of the Bible and uplifting praise and worship music to the Sevier County area. CCSM's radio program "Come to the Mountain" is featured at 7:30 AM & 12:00 PM Monday-Friday on FM 98.3.

Food Ministry

We want to provide our community with nutritional services that honor Christ’s commitment to meeting the basic needs of others.  Every dollar donated goes directly to the location overhead and purchasing food.
